This Avocado shaped stand is designed specifically to hold the Cafelat Robot Portafilter Basket while you are prepping the coffee bed. This may be the most 'Orphan Espresso' accessory since we might be the only people in the world that use the spouts of the portafilter! We like a stable base to hold the basket while we get it ready... We sense that most people use the Robot in the bottomless portafilter mode, which is a ready made stand, unless you're heating the portafilter on the kettle while you do your prep. The basket stand actually kind of prevents you from doing something weird that will throw off your basket prep... The basket sits on a little rubber pad on the base. Made of varnished Black Walnut with an aluminum monopole and cork feet in our workshop, in Idaho, USA. Basket not included.
