This is a silicone jar boot for a little added protection. Fits all of our Lido full size jars. When cold - they fit very tightly, but if you're in a warm environment you might need to wrap your jar with a bit of tape (painter's tape works well!). This allows for a bit more comfort if you thumb the jar on the counter to clear the coffee from the burr like we do - we've never broken or dented a jar thumping it, but the added silicone is a nice layer to add.

If you use a Lido Rubber Base the grinder will not fit in with the silicone boot on it..and it does not fit the Smol or Fixie Jars..
