The Vesuviana is a very simple machine which came in both stovetop models, and electric models. The gasket sets will fit both types. The machine is completely rebuilt using 3 seals....the portafilter gasket, boiler cap seal, and top seal for the internal portafilter pressure valve. Very simple to install and maintain. There are 4 sizes - the most important measurement is the large group gasket (above the basket):
3 cup model - the group gasket is about 2 3/8" (52mm ID x 62mm OD) in diameter.
6 cup model - the group gasket is about 2 13/16" (62mm ID x 72mm OD) in diameter.
9 cup model - the group gasket is about 3 1/8" (72mm ID x 82mm OD) in diameter.
12 cup model - the group gasket is about 3 5/8" (82mm ID x 92mm OD) in diameter.
