The Arrarex Caravel, sometimes referenced as the VAM, is one of the favorites of Home Lever Espresso machine enthusiasts! It is also a machine that has an extreme amount of variation in piston materials, designs, and the associated parts needed to rebuild these machines. Attempts have been made to designate 'machine types' or 'models' referring to the piston - we believe they up to five, or more types. To simplify, for your rebuilding, we are offering a universal kit that will fit your machine regardless of the 'type'. In a general way, you either have a two seal piston, a one seal piston with top o-ring, a two seal piston with no small ring, a no-seal piston with o-rings in the cylinder, or some combination thereof...
