Pressure test gauge. Steam wand mount. This gauge can be used to check and set the pressurestat on the Olympia Cremina, and to check pressure and therefore temperature profiles on the La Pavoni Europiccola early Microcimbali and other machines. This gauge is accurate to .1 bar and has a maximum reading of 2 bar. When applied to the steam wand with the valve open it will reflect the boiler pressure....not as handly as a cap mount gauge but a good economical alternative.
This test gauge is also a good tool to monitor and check the accuracy of your present pressure gauge on a La Pavoni Pro, and Elektra MCAL, a Riviera, and others. When we set up a machine we go by the results of this gauge and not the one on the machine, since the old gauges may become inaccurate over time. If you have a dual element machine with a simple spring and ball pressure regulator this will diagnose the accuracy of your pressure valve spring and enable you to evaluate the possibility of replacing this part with a new one.
The 1/4" rubber hose will fit the LP and Olympia and seal with no clamp....on thinner tip wands you may need to add a small hose clamp for a tight seal.
