| Skoy Cloth - a new, reuseable, washable, absorbent alternative to paper towels, sponges, dish rags and just about any other kitchen cloth! These eco-friendly kitchen cleaning squares each measure about 7" x 7". Made from Cotton fiber and wood base cellulose pulp, they are completely biodegradable! When dry they have a texture much like a thick cracker, but when damp they are very soft, very absorbent, and great for cleaning up around the kitchen! You can wash them in the sink, or the washing machine, and you can easily sterlize them in your microwave (just add water, and microwave for 1-2 minutes!). So far, we've used 1 cloth for 2 weeks, mopping out the drip tray, wiping out the group in the espresso machine, cleaning PF baskets - we've washed it in the washing machine with no fraying, no discernable breakdown in the fibers at all! We keep a damp one by the espresso machine to wipe our fingers on, and a swift clean up of small spills - it saves on water because we don't have to run the tap to rinse off the coffee bits! This green, utilitarian product has a LOT of potential! |
