 Description
Some of the SAMA Export machines use a 2 seal setup on the piston rather than the 3 seal system (the 3 seal is used on the PV Export and SOME but not all of the SAMA Export machines).    There is no way to tell which piston you have without taking the piston out and looking at it to be sure.   Some have 3 and some have 2 seals, so give it a look before you order.

This kit for the 2 seal Export piston consists of a lower W profile seal (sourced as an Elektra part) and a thin high temp silicone self adhesive strip to act as a shim for this lower seal.   Without this shim in the seal groove on the piston the fit is just very slightly loose and shimming gives a better fit.   The upper V profile seal is sourced from Zacconi and fits perfectly with no shimming.  

By the way, we use the silicone tape shim to give a controlled shim out spec but the Italian techs just wrap a few feet of teflon tape around the piston in the groove to solve this...either way it works fine but the silicone is controlled and very tidy in this application.

This Export 2 seal variant kit includes W lower power seal, V upper static seal, and the proper length of silicone shim material for one piston.
