Orphan Espresso

This is the NEW Mini Porlex Stainless Steel coffee grinder!  In response to consumer demand Porlex has created a smaller version of their increasingly popular Porlex grinder, which we refer to as the Porlex Tall.  Porlex has reduced the size of the body of the grinder, and added a silicone grab band with handle slot - a VERY nice addition!   The body is 100% stainless steel and the fit of the body parts is excellent.  The conical burr is ceramic, and is the same as the burr in the Porlex Tall.  It lends itself to easy cleaning and a long rust free life.     Inner spring mechanism keeps the burr evenly adjusted even on the coarser grinds.

• Very quiet static free operation with effortless turning force required to grind
• Bottom catch cup allows direct dosing into portafilter with no additional funnels or gizmos
• Grind rate is about 200 turns for 14 grams of beans through the espresso range (a bit slower than the Kyocera)
• Hopper Capacity about 3 tablespoons (21 grams) of coffee beans
