Tamping Pad?  Coaster?   Mini Trivet?  You choose!  We see this as an espresso portafilter tamping pad.  But, the way WE see things isn't necessarily the way YOU see things - and we have found that sometimes the way WE use a thing is not the way You will use it!    So lets call it a 3 1/2" Skitter Pad!  Made of 100% post consumer recycled rubber, has a nice grabby, textured surface which doesn't skitter around on smooth counter tops.  It doesn't show marks on the surface of the rubber, nor does it mark other surfaces!    1/4" thick, very dense & rugged material - called Elephant Bark.   This is a by product of another project here at OE, so, combining the 100% recycled nature of the original material, and the reuse of a by product, it gets DOUBLE green points!
