Description

The OE Short Stack Mini Hopper is a multifunctional top funnel and hopper specifically designed for single dosing on Compak K series coffee grinders.

It is machined from solid aluminum to match the Compak burr adjustment collar. The lower flange fits precisely in the collar throat and is held securely in place with the original hopper collar screw(no rattling).

The top opening is 2 1/2 inches diameter and gives a big target for pouring in beans when single dosing and there is a machined shoulder inside the funnel to act as a tamper stand (while the tamper acts as a cover while grinding). Designed for 58mm tampers.

This beautiful bit of functional bling was SPECIFICALLY designed for the Compak grinder and both improves the kit for single dosing while smoothly complementing the Compak design.

As described, the Short Stack has a machined ledge to accommodate a 58mm tamper for use as a cover or tamper throne....OK, so we modded the mod and can provide a die cut rubber ring which acts as an adaptor so ANY size tamper can sit in the Stack. The ring does catch a couple of beans on filling which introduces the fiddle factor here but allows tamper storage and cover if you are running with anything smaller than 58mm size tamps!
