 Description
 OE stainless steel piston rod for Olympia Cremina Model 67.  All years excluding the 2002 models and newer.   Rod only.  Piston sold separately.

This replacement piston rod is a direct fit onto the original brass Cremina piston as well as the new OE stainless steel piston.   The top thread has the square shoulder as on the original (shoulders ground to taper are a later technician trick) as the square shoulder allows proper piston height adjustment using the top nut system.  The rod is removed from your old piston by applying HEAT at the thread junction to weaken the threadlock in the socket and turning the piston off.  Installation requires high strength threadlock in the socket.   If your current rod has an elongated pin hole this may cause the lever yoke to strike the group  as well as the inability to properly adjust the piston height.
