OE Pharos Hand Coffee Grinder

The OE PHAROS hand coffee grinding machine is the result of our long term study and use of hand coffee grinders. It is built to satisfy US to meet the demands of VERY demanding hand coffee grinder users (that would again be US). The grinder lacks some of the amenities of the standard coffee grinder due to our rigid enforcement of one central engineering rule....dead center alignment of the burrs with no wander shake or shimmy. We invite and encourage all new owners to mod this mill to meet the requirements that YOU have to bring this into specs for your personal use.

As offered, the PHAROS features:

68mm conical commercial grinding burr set
Top and bottom replaceable bronze oil less axle bearings
Stepless top adjustment made simply and repeatably using the included top adjustment nut tommy bar, which is included and stores readily on the machine (with the double thumb nut adjustment system the bar is used only for a setting marker and occasionally loosening the two nuts from each other)
Lower grounds chamber features inner ABS funnel with bottom grounds dispensing and rubber stopper closure.

Rubber "popper stopper" top hole cover to seal top hopper when grinding and top "bean ring" which acts as a functional top bean funnel
Thick Custom Counter Pad made of 100% Post Consumer Recycled Rubber
Easy burr cleaning with simple take down followed by simple assembly (instructions included).
All parts are replaceable and available as spares if ever needed.
Built to last ...the assembly plates are aluminum, the axle and handle stainless steel, the lower hopper is ABS plastic and the upper hopper chamber is clear polycarbonate plastic. All assembly bolts are steel.

The PHAROS is an aggressive hand mill which will grind from Turkish powder to French press. Speeds as low as 15 turns per tablespoon in the espresso range which settle in at about 25 turns per tablespoon for press. The upper bean chamber holds 21 grams of beans and the lower chamber holds more than you could ever use at one brew session. The OE PHAROS comes with full instructions for any possible need.
