Description

Bottomless portafilter for the Millenium models of the Europiccola and Pro espresso machines. Uses a 51mm filter basket.    This is a chopped OEM La Pavoni portafilter.    Comes with La Pavoni grip.

PLEASE NOTE:    We have chopped a few of the Millenium portafilter bodies from our latest parts shipment from La Pavoni (May 2011) and have found that the chrome plating quality on some of these pfs is spotty.....by that we mean that it seems that La Pavoni has changed their plating process or their supplier and the plating is a two metal system rather than 3 and the outer chrome plate has a tendency to flake off at the cut for the bottomless.    Also, some of the pf bodies are not completely plated inside and show brass in the body.    We hope that this is just an off batch and not a new cost cutting measure but be advised, you may see some factory blemishes and what appears to be a discoloration of the chrome along the cut edge, which is the areas of plating loss where it has peeled off. We do our best to smooth and feel the edge so there are no nasty surprises, but feel that we must notify the prospective buyer of this shortfall (in our opinion).
It pains us to either sell a product which we must make excuses for or have an unhappy customer, but this situation is beyond our control and we can hope, as I said, that it is not permanent.   We do not wish to stop offering these bottomless portafilters but are considering this step if the quality issues continue.
