The Kim Express lever machine is a spring piston machine with a commercial size portafilter and basket (58mm tamper).   It has a brass cylinder sleeve suspended inside the boiler and a very large brass piston.  The body is aluminum and although these boilers are notorious for oxidation and pitting, on the two machines we have had there is no evidence of boiler degradation.   The Kim line has machines models with and without steam valves in both 110v and 220v at 1000 watts power.
