The Australian design firm Dreamfarm has created this compact Grindenstein Knockbox from the ground up - the result is an absolutely sturdy, functional and gorgeous Portafilter Knockbox.
The Grindenstein is specifically designed to be stored on the drip tray of the average home Espresso Machine, it measures 4" tall, 4 3/8" in diameter - perfect for those of us with limited counter space in a small kitchen made even smaller by our Espresso Machines, Grinders & assorted Gear. It is Dishwasher safe, and easy to clean.
Each Grindenstein has a non-skid continuous rubber ring on the bottom for sound dampening, a virtually indestructable knock bar, and GREAT Colors! And it even comes with a booklet with tips on recycling your Espresso pucks! We have used one of these for months and have no dents or divots on the knock bar....holds about 6 commercial portafilter size pucks.
