 Description
The main bottom boiler gasket seldom fails as a stand alone leak but there are situations that merit the renewal of this seal.    It is a fairly simple part to replace and we generally change it when doing a full machine rebuild.    Removing the bottom plate of the boiler allows a throrough inspection and oftentimes needed manual cleaning of the boiler and element.   If you  notice an off taste to the steam water this may be only solved with a manual cleaning, hence, the new gasket.
