This is a 1990's era Astoria 2 group commercial lever espresso machine. The groups are HX fed from plumbed in line for continuous espresso brewing independent of steam from the big boiler. It has both water autofill system as well as manual fill when desired. The 2400 watt elements operate on standard 220v and the machine is equipped with an OEM Astoria gas system, currently set up for use with propane. Both power modes work flawlessly and the machine is set up to run at a 1 bar boiler pressure, and both the electrical control and gas are very easily modulated. All stainless steel parts are in good condition with some signs of wear commensurate with age and use...but no dents or ugly surprises.

The operation of this workhorse Astoria is quite simple and straightforward. The HX group feed is quite desirable especially in a commercial setting for continuous steam while pulling shots and the shots do not deplete the boiler level. When operating on gas power the machine is almost magical as there is basically no deadband in the maintenance of boiler pressure and the machine operates in complete silence...no clicks of the pstat or water autofill system (but you do have to keep an eye on the water level sight glass tube).
The machine will be shipped by motor freight on a pallet and feel free to inquire for shipping estimate. The machine comes as you see it with two portafilters and baskets and no lines for water or drain. It weighs approximately 150 pounds and is a full size commercial machine in service ready condition.
